This Policy explains how Public Leaders Advisory ("PLA," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and safeguards personal information for the Public Leaders Advisory website, applications, and related services. It functions both as a general privacy policy and as a notice at collection.
Applies to information we collect from account holders and prospective users, organization contacts, use of the website and Service, support, billing, communications, and AI-assisted features and uploads. It does not apply to third-party services we do not control.
Account and identity: name, email, organization, title or role, credentials and password hash. Workspace and user-submitted content: tracked-person and group entries, notes and observations, inferred insights and categorizations, conversation transcripts and chat content, reminders, initiatives, one-on-ones, stakeholders, risk records, self-reflection answers, journal entries, growth plans, and uploads. Usage and technical: IP address, browser and device information, log data, timestamps, session and interaction data, security and audit records. Billing and transactional: subscription status, plan type, payment-related metadata, transaction history, billing contact details. We do not store full payment card numbers; card processing is handled by our payment processor. Communications: support requests, emails, notices, in-product messages. User-submitted sensitive content: because the Service is user-driven, content may include personal information about third parties, inferred traits, and sensitive details; users are prohibited from submitting certain high-risk data except where expressly permitted by written contract.
Directly from you, from your use of the Service, from your organization if it sponsors your account, and from service providers (payment, email, hosting, analytics, AI) used to operate the Service.
To create and administer accounts; provide, maintain, and secure the Service; operate AI-assisted features you request; store, organize, and display workspace data; process transactions and manage subscriptions; respond to support; detect and investigate misuse, fraud, and security incidents; maintain logs, legal holds, retention controls, and compliance records; improve reliability; and comply with law and enforce our agreements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer workspace content to train external AI models for other parties.
To hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors, email and communications providers, AI and language-model providers used to generate requested outputs, security and fraud-prevention providers, professional advisers, regulators or courts when required by law, and a successor entity in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information for money and do not share workspace data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
When you use an AI-assisted feature, we may send your prompt, relevant context, and reasonably necessary workspace data to our AI provider, currently [AI Provider Name] or another provider identified on our AI Disclosure page. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing them. Unless separately authorized by written contract, do not submit student education records, medical records, Social Security numbers, payment card data, driver's license numbers, biometric identifiers, or other highly sensitive regulated data.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, fulfill contractual obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and records obligations. Periods vary by category and workspace settings. Our standard reference retention period is 180. Archived backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including account protections, access controls, logical workspace separation, and logging. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Security contact: Anthony Pulido.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to know the categories we collect, access your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, and appeal or complain. To exercise rights, contact anthonypulidolv@gmail.com. We may verify your identity and authority first. If your account is managed by an organization, some requests may need to be directed through that organization.
We collect the categories described above for the business and commercial purposes described here. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We retain information as described above. If we ever materially change whether we sell or share data, we will update this Policy and required notices first.
We may use cookies, session identifiers, and similar technologies to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember preferences, secure the website, and analyze reliability and usage. You can manage cookies in your browser, though some functions may not work without them.
Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals in a standardized way unless and until such functionality is implemented. If we implement legally required browser-based privacy preference recognition, we will describe it here.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. Unless a separate written agreement expressly permits it, the Service is not intended to receive student education records. If we learn that prohibited child or student data has been submitted without authorization, we may remove it, restrict access, or require corrective action.
If a workspace is sponsored or controlled by an organization or public agency, the organization may own or control its data and its retention, export, access, and deletion settings, and records may be subject to legal preservation or disclosure obligations.
The Service is intended for use in the United States unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you use it from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
We may update this Policy. For material changes we will update the Effective Date and provide additional notice where required or appropriate.
